Life Members
The Board has been pleased to award Life Membership of the NSW Justices Association Inc. to a number of NSWJA Members through nomination at the Branch level.
In 2002 when the NSWJA became incorporated rules on awarding Life Membership changed. At that time there were number of Branch Life Members. Under changes to the Constitution as part of Incorporation the criteria for the awarding of Life Membership was changed as per the current Constitution. It was decided at that time that all current Branch Life Members would be award Life Membership of the Association.
Life Associate Members are previous Life Members who have relinquished their JP Commission but remain an Associate Member of the Association. There is no provision in the Constitution to award Life Associate Member to anyone who has not previously been awarded Life Membership of the Association.

It also provides a relevant training program for JPs to increase and/or maintain your skills.

A list of all branches can be found on the Branches and Support Groups page. If you are unsure which Branch best suits your needs, the Administration Office will assign you to a Branch nearest to where you live.
If you do not specifically wish to join a branch you can nominate COUNTRY. This designation does not have meetings or training sessions.
Attending branch meetings does provide a member the opportunity to meet other members and undergo continued training sessions.
Membership Fees
The membership fees of the Association are listed below. There is no additional joining fee if you sign up for a three (3) year membership.If you are currently a member of the NSWJA and signup (x) number of members for a 3 year period you will a be given one year additional membership.
1 Year + $25 Joining Fee 3 Years - NO JOINING FEE

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate membership is available to a business or government department who have a number of JPs in their employ.Membership fees are based on the number of JPs the business/organisation have working for them.
Affiliate membership allows those JPs to access our online training resource.

Changing your details
If you change your name, address or contact details you are legally required to advise the Attorney General's Department.Details of your legal requirements
It is also important to advise the NSWJA so that we can update our records and you can continue to receive your Journal and other information. To change your name or contact details please email or send us a letter or fax.
Membership renewals and contact details update
Members can now access their membership details via a secure online website.This secure online area will allow a member to pay their membership renewal, change their membership details and amend their membership type.
